In 2007, Luke was admitted as Legal Practitioner having completed a Bachelor of Laws and Economics at Murdoch University in 2005.

Since 2007, Luke has practised in commercial law and commercial litigation including in the areas of contractual disputes, succession, trust matters, taxation, professional indemnity, employment matters and debt recovery. 

Luke has a broad range of Western Australian clients including business people & professionals, builders, farmers, agribusinesses, property developers, accountants and businesses servicing the mining and construction sectors. 

Luke regularly appears in Courts and Tribunals as counsel and instructing solicitor.
